The .SWF Files should be working now. What? They were not working? Well d'uh! Originally I had them on a different server which was given to me for "backup" space. Even though the website is still up, the IP Address to the FTP server was changed and my account was not recreated, so I assume it's gone for good. I actually forgot that The .SWF Files were being linked to the other server, so now they should be working now since they are hosted locally.
My guestbook is still being invaded by bots... even though it is annoying, it is not a high concern. I wish I get some REAL people to sign it every once in a while. I do get visitors to this site everyday, I wonder how many of them are regular visitors vs new people?
Speaking of you regular visitors, many of you have passively complained that my albums are always under construction. I can always upload these photos to a Peer to Peer social networking site, like Flickr, Image Shack, or even Yahoo! Photos... but then it kind of defeats the purpose of having a home page. I guess you can call me old fashion, but if I use these services to host my gallerys I feel like it won't be mine. I feel like I'm giving these websites my rights and my photos to do what THEY want. Therefore, I much rather create my own gallery that's hosted on my own website that I can take with me where ever I go and the code and images are created and handled by me. Whenever I have the time and the motivation, I will complete the albums that I have outlined and maybe add new ones. :)

Just a minor update today, I corrected several minor but annoying visual Internet Explorer bugs. Not really, I just accidently deleted the BODY tag out of a lot of my documents while trying to make my code "valid."
While fixing the visual errors in Internet Exploder, I discovered something of highly annoyance. The Gray Box of Death! The Gray Box of Death? What's that? I never seen this phenmomon before and apparently it is something that just happened recently. The Gray Box of Death is officially known as the EOLAS problem. EOLAS is a United States company and patent licensee which basically requires commercial entities, such as Microsoft to pay royalties for their patent which they claimed to have created the first web browser that supported plugins.
Microsoft modified its Internet Explorer February of this year toto side-step the Eola Patents. All ActiveX controls will now need to be "activated" before they can be interacted with. Users will need to click once on an ActiveX control before being able to use its interface. Hence, the Gray Box of Death. For example,
Fortunately, there is to way load in the object/embed tag from an external Javascript file which I will start working into all my documents, but for now I only did a few.
Another thing I have found of highly annoyance is the spam bots that have invaded my guestbook. WTF! I might have free time this week, so when I get a chance I'm going to update my code and as well create some new content.

If you are reading this, you will probably notice that the formatting looks a lot better now. I cut the fat from my 10kb CSS Style file. It has accumulated too much fat, rather than replacing, I just continue to add to it keeping legacy attritubutes.
Another thing you might have noticed is not only the new formatting of this area, but two new sections; WebLog and RSS Feeds.
WebLog
A WebLog, aka blog, is best defined as an online diary. I currently have a private blog where only a few selected people have access to. I decided to begin posting selected entrys here on my site. I dont' have any content availible right now.
RSS Feeds
I have been using my.yahoo.com as my RSS Feed Reader opposed to a plugin to Outlook and or a freestanding application only because I have access to my feeds without having or needing to install additional software. Behold the power of RSS Feeds, I share with you a few of my favorite sites!

Okay, I did a major update today! This weekend, I have spent many hours reprogramming my website. I really want to learn PHP. Before I learn PHP, I needed to do several things.
- Redesign the way the website flows
- Recode my HTML using the XHTML rules
- Validate my HTML
Redesign the way the website flows
Even though I worked hard on redesigning my website last year, I was still not happy how it the sign nativated. The website constanly reloaded itself from top to bottom. I did not like that at all! I found it very annoying but I didn't have the motivation to fix it. When I did have the motivation; the best way to fix my problem is to use frames. I wanted to stay away from frames because they are static. I needed something more dynamic... something like Iframes!
Recode my HTML using the XHTML rules
XHTML? Whats that? Basically, it's exactly like HTML, except there are more strict rules to follow. One rule, I do not like is that I need to make my tags lowercase. I always liked to keep my code in CAPS because it makes it easier to look at the code.
Validate my HTML
Even though our favorite internet browser will render HTML regardless of errors, James Baca is encouraging me to validate my code according to the World Wide Web Consortium's standards. I'm going to be very stubborn about this last step, because not only do I code my HTML by hand, it's very insulting when the webpage reports errors on my HTML just because I'm not using CSS to control my attributes. Okay, I know! I'm old school! I have way too many documents to validate, so I might tip-toe around this step!
Speaking of James Baca, with his help (actually he did all the work), we created a PHP Free 4 All links page which is currently working. It's still kind of messy, but you can still add links! So check it out! Check out the entire website! I did a lot of work this past weekend just so I will be able to get it online before Wednesday. Guess what? I did it! w00t!

I really need to get my act together! Oh well, very little feedback equals almost little motivation! Anyhow, I added my Nintendo WTC Friendcodes, check them out! If you play, hit me up with your friendcodes as well! I did minor updates in several sections. Check it out and see what I did!

Okay, I never got a chance to get those albums done. If you want to see stuff on my website that are not availible, some feedback would help motivate me into getting them done! Nearly 10 years ago, I would constantly get feedback from my visitors from compliments to critism. That was my motivation! One more thing, please do not hotlink my cursor previews. I am able to track you down and change the hotlink image at will. Just like I did to this bandwith thief! HAHAHAHAHAH
I been playing a lot of Animal Crossing lately, so I added a Nintendo Wifi Connection section right below Video Games under my Hobbys on the Site Menu. I decided to kill the Find Barstow project and replace it with Barstow Humor. I did some other minor tweaks here and there as well.
